UK STANDING CONFERENCE ON THE RESOLUTION OF CITIZENS' GRIEVANCES

In the United Kingdom a proposal to establish a Standing Conference on the Resolution of Citizens' Grievances (or SCROCG) is being pursued.

The proposal combines roles separately known in Australia. In particular, the Conference would fulfil a function of directing citizens to appropriate grievance or complaint bodies (approximating much of the informal work of the Commonwealth Ombudsman). In addition, it would overview and monitor the administrative review system of the United Kingdom, mirroring the work of the Administrative Review Council in Australia.
