Preface
The Center for Transnational IP, Media and Technology Law and Policy
at Bucerius Law School, Hamburg, Germany, was established in May
2012. This book is its first publication. I would like to thank the
contributing authors Johan Axhamn, Dan Burk, Erika Ellyne, Christophe
Geiger, Lucie Guibault, Roger Kampf, Maximilano Marzetti, Marco
Ricolfi, Martin Senftleben, Andrea Stazi, Ingrid Schneider and Peter Yu
for having provided the insightful and intellectually stimulating contents
of this book. I am further grateful to Dan Burk, Reto Hilty, Jerome
Reichman and Peter Yu for their comments, their encouragement and
support. I thank Constantin Blanke-Roeser for his outstanding editorial
