The content of a cup of coffee consists of about 7 grams of coffee and about 125 milliliters of water. It took in the order of 140 liters of water (virtual water) to grow, produce, pack and ship the coffee from, for example, Brazil, Ethiopia or Indonesia to, for example, Europe.
