Copyright enforcement in Vietnam is problematic as the infringement of copyright rate is high. The Vietnam Law on Intellectual Property was enacted in 2005, but its impact has been very limited. Copyright infringement occurs not only in the traditional environment but also to digital universe nowadays. This chapter analyzes the causes of copyright infringement in Vietnam and gives recommendations for solutions.
