Shahira Amin is an independent journalist based in Cairo. A longtime
contributor to CNN's Inside Africa, Amin is also a documentary film-
maker producing films for UN agencies. She currently contributes to
Freemuse and Al Monitor. Amin has won several international awards
including Julio Anguita Parrado Award 2012 for courageous journalism,
Global Thinkers Forum Award 2013 for Excellence in promoting gender
equity and BMW Foundation's Responsible Leaders Award 2016.
Lucky Belder is Senior Researcher in the Renforce Research Programme
at the Europa Institute of the Utrecht University Faculty of Law, Eco-
nomics and Governance. Dr. Belder's research on governance of the arts
and sciences, cultural heritage and cultural diversity, and fundamental
issues in intellectual property regimes contributes to her advisory work for
Dutch governmental agencies and international cultural institutions.
Yvonne Donders is Professor of International Human Rights and Cul-
tural Diversity and Head of the Department of International and Euro-
pean Law at the University of Amsterdam. Her research focuses on
analysing from a legal as well as a multidisciplinary perspective issues
related to reconciling universal human rights and cultural diversity,
including the promotion and protection of cultural rights. She is further a
member of the Dutch National Commission for UNESCO, the Human
Rights Committee of the Advisory Council on International Affairs, the
Editorial Board of the Netherlands Quarterly of Human Rights, and the
Advisory Council of the National Institute for Human Rights.
