Contributors Elena Bargelli is Full Professor of Private Law at Pisa University. Her research is focused on national, European and comparative contract and tort law in general and tenancy law in particular. She is a Fellow of the European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law (Vienna), Italian reporter at the annual conference in Vienna and Member of the Council of the European Law Institute. She has published a book on comparative tenancy law under Italian, French and German law in 2004 and many articles on tenancy law. Witold Borysiak is assistant professor at the University of Warsaw Faculty of Law and Administration and at the Institute of Justice. He has worked in the Department of Studies and Analyses of the General Counsel to the Republic of Poland and as a law clerk at the Polish Constitutional Tribunal. Between 2013 and 2015 he was a member of the Working Group on Succession Law of the Polish Civil Law Codification Commission. He has been a visiting scholar at many universities including the University of Florida Levin College of Law, the Institute for European Tort Law in Vienna and the Swiss Institute of Comparative Law in Lausanne. As a SCIEX Scholar, he worked as an assistant at the University of Geneva's Faculty of Law.
