Abstract/Description:

Through Law 3869/2010, which was enacted on 3 August 2010, Greece essentially transposed German insolvency law into Greek law. This Law was then amended in 2013 and 2015. Three new systems have been introduced for entrepreneurs by the 2010 Law: the consolidation procedur; the insolvency and liquidation procedure; and business restructuring. For non-entrepreneurs, there is only one procedure that combines all three systems.
