Abstract/Description:

This chapter explores how an ethic that sustains Earth as our common home might usher in a new axial age. It also looks at whether the Earth Charter as this normative framework might guide humans as they migrate away from the gathering crises in the early Anthropocene epoch towards more peaceful realms of human relations with nature and each other.
