ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
For years in Chambers we have enthused and prevaricated, in equal measure, about writing a
book on mis-selling financial services. How the winter evenings flew by in Gough Square. But
finally, the apocryphal mis-selling book has been committed to writing and published in
physical form. That would not have been possible without our prestigious publisher, Edward
Elgar, and in particular our editor, Tony Hawitt, whose tolerance (perhaps `forbearance' in a
work of this nature) should be applauded. We would also like to thank Robin Kingham of
Gough Square Chambers for his timely contribution in relation to Brexit and the future
implications for financial services litigation.
We dedicate this book to our long-suffering families and, of course, to future family
members.
We have agreed that all royalties from the publication of this work will be donated to the
Free Representation Unit, registered charity number 295952.
The law is stated as at 1 September 2018. All websites are currently live.
