Foreword

We wish to begin this issue of the Otago Law Review by recognising the long tenure of Professor Margaret Briggs, who has served as an Editor of the OLR since 2005 (Volume 11 Issue 1). We are especially grateful to Prof Briggs for her guidance as we take up the mantle as editors, and it is particularly fitting that her Inaugural Professorial Lecture is featured in this Issue.
We also wish to acknowledge the contribution of Melanie Black, who has performed the role of Secretary to the Editorial Committee with great care for many years.
