ADMINISTRATION AND PROBATE ACT 1929 - SECT 102

The written receipt of the public trustee and guardian for any money payable to the public trustee and guardian under this part is a sufficient discharge for the money to the person paying it, and the person is not afterwards liable for any misapplication of the money.
