CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 336

What are the care and protection chapters?

In this Act:

"care and protection chapters" means the following chapters:

        (a)     Chapter 10 (Care and protection—general);

        (b)     Chapter 11 (Care and protection—reporting and assessing risk of significant harm);

        (c)     Chapter 12 (Care and protection—voluntary agreements to transfer or share parental responsibility);

        (d)     Chapter 13 (Care and protection—emergency situations);

        (e)     Chapter 14 (Care and protection—care and protection orders);

        (f)     Chapter 14A (Care and protection—therapeutic support panel for children and young people);

        (g)     Chapter 15 (Care and Protection—director-general has aspect of parental responsibility);

        (h)     Chapter 16 (Care and protection—intensive therapy for children and young people);

              (i)     Chapter 17 (Care and protection—interstate transfer of orders and proceedings);

        (j)     Chapter 18 (Care and protection—police assistance);

        (k)     Chapter 19 (Care and protection—provisions applying to all proceedings under care and protection chapters).
