Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) A proceeding for judicial review of a decision of the director-general to transfer a child welfare order to a participating State must be started, and originating process given to the director-general, not later than 10 working days after the day the director-general decided to transfer the order.
(2) A proceeding for judicial review must comply with the relevant rules of court.
(3) However, the Supreme Court must not extend the 10 working days mentioned in subsection (1).
(4) The lodging (or filing) and service on the director-general of an originating process mentioned in subsection (1) stays the operation of the decision until the proceeding is determined.
