CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 720

Orders—must be given to people

As soon as practicable after making an order under the care and protection chapters in a proceeding, the court must give a copy of the order to—

        (a)     the director-general; and

        (b)     the public advocate; and

        (c)     if the order relates to an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander child or young person—the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people commissioner; and

        (d)     each lawyer representing a party to the proceeding who has, before the date of the order, filed a notice of address for service; and

        (e)     if a party to the proceeding is not represented by a lawyer and has, before the date of the order, filed a notice of address for service—the party.
