CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE ACT 2008 - SECT 876

    (1)     This section applies if a person suspects that a provision of this Act is being, or has been, contravened.

Note     A reference to an Act includes a reference to the statutory instruments made or in force under the Act, including any standards made under s 887 (see Legislation Act

, s 104).

    (2)     The person may report (in a confidential report ) the suspicion, and the reasons for the suspicion, to the director-general.
