CRIMINAL CODE 2002 - SECT 336A

Making false statements on oath or in statutory declarations

A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person makes a statement on oath or in a statutory declaration; and

        (b)     the statement is false; and

        (c)     the person knows the statement is false.

Maximum penalty: 500 penalty units, imprisonment for 5 years or both.
