Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) A police officer may, at any time, enter and be in any part of the casino if the police officer—
(a) is at or above the rank of sergeant; or
(b) is authorised to do so by another police officer at or above the rank of sergeant; or
(c) is asked to do so by an authorised person.
(2) This section does not affect the power of a police officer under any other territory law to enter and be in the casino.
Note The Control Act
, s 23 provides that an authorised officer may enter and inspect the casino at any reasonable time to do the things mentioned in that section.
