DOMESTIC ANIMALS ACT 2000 - SECT 124

Identity cards

    (1)     The director-general must issue an authorised person with an identity card that states the person is an authorised person for this Act, or stated provisions of this Act, and shows—

        (a)     a recent photograph of the person; and

        (b)     the name of the person, or any unique number given to the authorised person by the director-general for this section; and

        (c)     the date of issue of the card; and

        (d)     a date of expiry for the card; and

        (e)     anything else prescribed by regulation.

    (2)     A person who ceases to be an authorised person must return the person's identity card to the director-general as soon as practicable, but no later than 7 days after ceasing to occupy or act in that office.

Maximum penalty (subsection (2)): 1 penalty unit.
