(1) A person commits an offence if—
(a) the person is the carer of a dangerous dog; and
(b) the person is with the dog in a public place; and
(c) the dog is not wearing a muzzle.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(2) A person commits an offence if—
(a) the person is the keeper of a dangerous dog; and
(b) the dog is in a public place without the keeper or a carer.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(3) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
