Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current ActsThe Minister may, in writing, make an order (an emergency order ) if the Minister believes, on reasonable grounds, that the order is necessary to prevent or minimise a risk of serious harm to the health or safety of people, or substantial damage to property or the environment, from a hazard associated with a dangerous substance.
Note 1 An order may be made in relation to a particular kind of dangerous substance (see Legislation Act
, s 48).
