FAMILY VIOLENCE ACT 2016 - SECT 6

The objects of this Act include—

        (a)     to prevent and reduce family violence; and

        (b)     to ensure the safety and protection of people, including children, who fear, experience or witness family violence; and

        (c)     to encourage perpetrators of family violence to be accountable for their conduct.
