Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) A heritage agreement attaches to the land where the place or object is located and is binding on the owner of the land for the time being.
(2) The Minister must lodge a copy of each heritage agreement, and of any agreement to vary or end a heritage agreement, with the registrar-general for registration under the Land Titles Act 1925
.
(3) The Minister must ensure as far as is practicable that the copy of the agreement is lodged with the registrar-general in registrable form.
Note The Land Titles Act 1925
provides for the registrar-general to register an agreement mentioned in s (2) under that Act (see s 48).
