LEGISLATION ACT 2001 - SECT 168

References to person with interest in land include personal representative etc

In an Act or statutory instrument, a reference to a person with an interest in land or other property includes a reference to the person's personal representatives, successors and assigns.

Examples—references to people with interests in land

1     proprietor

2     transferor or transferee

3     mortgagor or mortgagee

4     lessor or lessee

5     sublessor or sublessee

6     trustee
