MAGISTRATES COURT ACT 1930 - SECT 116F

Procedure if notice of intention to defend given

If a defendant returns the notice of intention to defend form to the registrar before the day when the defendant is required by the summons to appear before the court—

        (a)     the court must fix a time and place for the hearing of the proceeding; and

        (b)     the registrar must give to the defendant notice of the time and place fixed.
