MAGISTRATES COURT ACT 1930 - SECT 267

Case stated

    (1)     On the application of a party to a proceeding in the Magistrates Court, the court may state, in the form of a special case, any question of law that arises in the proceeding for the opinion of the Supreme Court.

    (2)     The Supreme Court has jurisdiction to hear and decide a case stated under this section.
