MAGISTRATES COURT ACT 1930 - SECT 7E

Acting Chief Magistrate

    (1)     The Executive may appoint a magistrate to act as Chief Magistrate.

, s 209, div 19.3.2 and div 19.3.2A about acting appointments.

    (2)     If no appointment is made under subsection (1), the senior magistrate who is in the ACT and is able and willing to act must act as Chief Magistrate.

    (3)     Despite the Legislation Act

, section 209 (2), the determination mentioned in section 7AA does not apply to the appointment of an acting Chief Magistrate.
