MAGISTRATES COURT ACT 1930 - SECT 83
Magistrate may adjourn court generally
If all the cases have not been heard and decided at any sitting of the court,
the magistrate may adjourn the cases remaining unheard or undecided, either to
the next day appointed for the holding of the court or to the other time the
magistrate considers appropriate.
