OMBUDSMAN ACT 1989 - SECT 24

    (1)     The ombudsman is appointed on the terms (if any) in relation to matters not provided for by this part or a determination under the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1995

that are prescribed by the management standards under the Public Sector Management Act 1994

.

    (2)     This section does not apply to a person holding the office of ombudsman under—

        (a)     the A.C.T. Self-Government (Consequential Provisions) Act 1988

, section 28 (Cwlth); or

        (b)     an arrangement between the Territory and the Commonwealth.
