PUBLIC UNLEASED LAND ACT 2013 - SECT 44

    (1)     A person commits an offence if—

        (a)     the person holds a public unleased land permit; and

        (b)     the permit is subject to a condition; and

        (c)     the person fails to comply with the condition.

Maximum penalty:

        (a)     if the condition is not a financial assurance condition—20 penalty units; or

        (b)     if the condition is a financial assurance condition—30 penalty units.

    (2)     An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
