Australian Capital Territory Current Acts Australian Capital Territory Current Acts(1) This section applies to a person (a record keeper ) who is employed or engaged in relation to any aspect of the production of driver licences or proof of identity cards or who is otherwise involved in the administration or enforcement of the road transport legislation.
(2) A record keeper must not reproduce (by photographic or other means) the likeness of the person who is shown (or is to be shown) on a driver licence or proof of identity card other than—
(a) for the administration or enforcement of—
(i) the road transport legislation; or
(ii) the Liquor Act 2010
, section 210 (Proof of identity cards); or
(b) in accordance with, or for any other purpose mentioned in, section 36 or section 37.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
(3) A record keeper must not reproduce (by any means) the signature of the person to whom a driver licence or proof of identity card is issued (or is to be issued) other than—
(a) for the administration or enforcement of—
(i) the road transport legislation; or
(ii) the Liquor Act 2010
, section 210 (Proof of identity cards); or
(b) in accordance with, or for any other purpose mentioned in, section 36 or section 37.
Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
