URBAN FOREST ACT 2023 - SECT 301

    (1)     This section applies if—

        (a)     before the commencement day, a person applied under the repealed Act

, section 22 (Application for approval of tree damaging etc activity) for approval for an activity mentioned in that section; and

        (b)     immediately before the commencement day, the conservator had not decided the application.

    (2)     The repealed Act

(including any instruments under the repealed Act

) continues to apply in relation to the application despite its repeal.

    (3)     If the application is approved, the approval is taken to be an approval under this Act, section 28 (Approval application—decision).
