Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations(1) The person in charge of a commercial poultry flock must, using a diagnostic test of a representative sample of the flock, test for signs of a Newcastle disease in accordance with any approved code of practice.
(2) A person commits an offence if the person fails to comply with subsection (1).
Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
(3) An offence against this section is a strict liability offence.
