Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations(1) This rule applies if a solicitor for a client who is a party to a proceeding is removed from the record under rule 2804 (Removal of solicitor by court) or withdraws from the record under rule 2806 (Withdrawal as solicitor).
(2) The client's home or business address becomes the address for service until—
(a) another solicitor is appointed; or
(b) the client notifies another address for service in accordance with these rules.
(3) The removal, or withdrawal, of a solicitor from the record under this part does not affect the rights or liabilities of the solicitor and the party for whom the solicitor acted as between them.
