COURT PROCEDURES RULES 2006 - REG 5407

Appeals to Court of Appeal——numbering etc of appeals

    (1)     When the notice of appeal is sealed, the registrar must give a distinguishing number or other unique identifier to the appeal started by the notice.

    (2)     The registrar must ensure that the notice of appeal and each copy sealed under rule 5406 is endorsed with—

        (a)     the distinguishing number or other unique identifier given to the appeal; and

        (b)     the date when the notice was filed in the court.
