PUBLIC HEALTH REGULATION 2000 - REG 69

Toilets not connected to the sewerage system

If there is, on premises or occupied land, no connection with the sewerage system in the ACT, the occupier of the premises or land must not install a toilet unless—

        (a)     the toilet is connected to a septic tank installation approved by an authorised officer; or

        (b)     the toilet is a chemical toilet, or another type of toilet, approved by an authorised officer.

Maximum penalty: 10 penalty units.
