ROAD TRANSPORT (VEHICLE REGISTRATION) REGULATION 2000 - REG 5A

    (1)     The

, section 47 (5) does not apply in relation to an instrument applied, adopted or incorporated as in force at a particular time under this regulation unless the instrument is expressed to be a notifiable instrument.

Examples—instruments to which s 47 (5) does not apply

1     an adopted standard

2     the UN ECE Agreement

3     the National Stationary Exhaust Noise Test Procedures for In-Service Motor Vehicles—September 2006

, section 47 (6) does not apply in relation to an instrument applied, adopted or incorporated as in force from time to time under this regulation unless the instrument is expressed to be a notifiable instrument.

1     an ADR

2     Vehicle Standards Bulletin No 14 – National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Construction and Modification

Note     The text of an applied, adopted or incorporated instrument, whether applied as in force from time to time or at a particular time, is taken to be a notifiable instrument if the operation of the href="http://www.legislation.act.gov.au/a/2001-14" title="A2001-14">Legislation Act

, s 47 (5) or (6) is not disapplied (see  s 47 (7)).
