ROAD TRANSPORT (ROAD RULES) REGULATION 2017 - REG 255

Riding too close to rear of motor vehicle

The rider of a bicycle must not ride within 2m of the rear of a moving motor vehicle continuously for more than 200m.

Maximum penalty: 20 penalty units.
