Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations(1) A licensed asbestos removalist must obtain a copy of the asbestos register for a workplace before the removalist carries out asbestos removal work at the workplace.
Maximum penalty: tier E monetary penalty.
Note Strict liability applies to each physical element of each offence under this regulation, unless otherwise stated (see s 6A).
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply if the asbestos removal work is to be carried out at residential premises.
