Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations Australian Capital Territory Current Regulations(1) This section applies if a notification under section 536 (Operators of certain facilities must notify regulator) or section 537 (Notification—proposed facilities) discloses that the quantity of Schedule 15 chemicals present or likely to be present at a facility (or proposed facility) exceeds their threshold quantity.
(2) The regulator must make a determination confirming the facility (or proposed facility) to be a major hazard facility.
Note A determination that a facility is a major hazard facility is a reviewable decision (see s 676).
