ADMINISTRATIVE APPEALS TRIBUNAL (NO. 58 OF 1994) - SECT 24

Failure to comply with summons

24. Section 52 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting the penalty provision and substituting the following:

“(2) A person served, as prescribed, with a summons under this Act to produce a book, document or thing shall not, without reasonable excuse, fail to comply with the summons.

Penalty: $5,000 or imprisonment for 6 months, or both.”.
