ANIMAL DISEASES ACT 2005 (NO. 18 OF 2005) - SECT 7

    (1)     The chief executive may appoint a public servant as the Director of Veterinary Hygiene.

    (2)     A public servant may only be appointed as the director if the person is a veterinary surgeon.

Note 1     For the making of appointments (including acting appointments), see the Legislation Act, pt 19.3.

Note 2     In particular, an appointment may be made by naming a person or nominating the occupant of a position (see s 207).
