CORONERS ACT 1997 (NO. 57 OF 1997) - SECT 22
Unavailability of medical practitioner directed to conduct a post-mortem examination
22. If a medical practitioner specified in an order under
subsection 21 (1) or (2) is, for any reason, unable to conduct the
post-mortem examination, the Coroner may—
(a) amend the order by substituting the name of another medical
practitioner; or
(b) direct that a
specified medical practitioner conduct the post-mortem.
