CORONERS ACT 1997 (NO. 57 OF 1997) - SECT 33

33. A Coroner who—

        (a)     makes an order for a post-mortem examination, re-interment or analysis of ashes; or

        (b)     issues a warrant for an exhumation of a body or the recovery of the ashes of a deceased;

may, by instrument, appoint a person or persons to assist in the examination, re-interment, exhumation, analysis or recovery.
