(1) The regulator's functions are—
(a) to administer this Act; and
(b) any other function given to the regulator by this Act or another territory law.
(2) In the exercise of the regulator's functions, the regulator must have regard to the objects stated in section 6 (Object of Act).
Note A provision of a law that gives an entity (including a person) a function also gives the entity powers necessary and convenient to exercise the function (see Legislation Act
