Sale of older dogs and cats not de-sexed

Section 74A (3)

substitute

    (3)     Subsection (1) does not apply to—

        (a)     a dog or cat if a veterinary surgeon certifies, in writing, before the dog was sold that de-sexing the animal would be a serious health risk to the animal; or

        (b)     a registered racing greyhound.
