Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts15. (1) A member may resign office by writing signed by the member and delivered to the Chief Minister.
(2) The resignation of a member takes effect on the day on which it is delivered to the Chief Minister or, if a later day is specified in the resignation, on that later day.
