ELECTORAL (AMENDMENT) ACT (NO. 2) 1997 (NO. 91 OF 1997) - SECT 4

4. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended by inserting the following definition:“ ‘official error', in relation to a person voting or seeking to vote at an election, means the removal of the person's name under this Act from the roll for an electorate in which the person is otherwise entitled to vote unless the name was so removed before the roll closed for the purpose of the previous election;”.
