NATURE CONSERVATION (AMENDMENT) ACT 1989 (NO. 4 OF 1989) - SECT 43

43. Section 70 of the Principal Act is amended—

    (a)     by omitting “his” and substituting “the”; and

    (b)     by omitting the penalty at the foot of the section and substituting the following penalty:

“Penalty:

        (a)     if the permit or licence relates to an animal with special protection status—$1,000;

        (b)     in any other case—$500.”.
