Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) The Minister may, if satisfied that unusual circumstances make it necessary, suspend the appointments of the directors of the Greyhound Club and appoint an administrator to deal with its affairs until such time as new directors can conveniently be appointed in accordance with its constitution.
(2) Where the Minister acts under this section, he or she shall ensure that—
(a) the Legislative Assembly is informed of the action; and
(b) a statement of the circumstances that make the action necessary is laid before the Assembly;
within 7 sitting days after the action.
