Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts Australian Capital Territory Numbered Acts(1) The road transport authority may exercise any function given under a heavy vehicle road law to a police officer or authorised person, other than a function that requires the physical presence of a police officer or authorised person.
Note Function includes authority, duty or power (see Legislation Act, dict).
(2) To remove any doubt, in this Act (except this
part) references to a police officer or authorised person include references
to the road transport authority.
